Peters Heating and Air Conditioning is truly a family affair. Herman and Cordelia Peters started the business in 1968. Their home-based business has grown over the years and now proudly includes a third generation of the family, also enlisting help from Jill Peters (John’s wife) in the office in Cordelia’s absence.
The main facility and office is located at the corner of Highway 25 and Z in Gordonville, just west of Cape Girardeau.
Peters has been an Amana Dealer since 1977, offering a full line of high efficiency gas and electric furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, humidifiers and air filtration equipment.
In addition to the Amana line of equipment, Peters has been providing sales, service and installation of WaterFurnace geothermal systems since 1990 and is the exclusive WaterFurnace dealer for the Cape Girardeau area.
The Peters sheet metal shop custom designs and builds ductwork for each project whether it is new construction or replacement equipment. The sheet metal shop also allows us to design custom metal work such as vent hoods for stoves and backsplashes for cabinets. Individual designs can be discussed to meet your needs.
